Arándanos de los Andes
Project Launch: 1-31-24
“Arándanos de los Andes,” or Andean Blueberries, is a dynamic group of women entrepreneurs proposing to create and develop a blueberry production business. This co-investment will support the women’s group development, as well as the initial capital for the blueberry greenhouse. Blueberries are highly nutritious, currently in high demand, and market research has shown profitable return after the first year of cultivation. The blueberry greenhouse will be constructed using environmentally-conscious, chemical-free techniques and an anti-waste water irrigation system. Ultimately, Arándanos de los Andes will create a sustainable income for women entrepreneurs and invest in their professional development and growth.
