Construction of Health Surveillance Assistant House
Project Launch: 10-14-24
In its second project, Chinkanda Village Development Committee will build a three-bedroom Health Worker house in Traditional Authority Msakambewa, Dowa district. This follows the recent construction of an under-five clinic in partnership with Mudzi Connect. The Health worker currently travels over 6 km to the clinic, delaying access to timely health care services by the community in the area. This new house will reduce travel distance and ensure timely provision of health services for the community.
Project Update: 1-16-25
The Chinkanda Health Surveillance Assistant (HSA) House project is progressing steadily, with the construction now at the roofing stage. Designed to provide a conducive living space, the house features three bedrooms, a kitchen, and a toilet, ensuring comfort and accessibility for the healthcare worker serving the community in Traditional Authority Msakambewa, Dowa district. The new house will ensure timely provision of quality healthcare services to the community. Once finished, the HSA house will represent a significant improvement in local healthcare delivery, addressing critical needs and fostering a healthier community.
