Making our Library More Child-Friendly with Reading Materials and Computers
Project Launch: 12-27-19
In 2016, World Connect funded a school library at the Libertad R C Primary School in Belize. The current library is used by Libertad R C students as well as other primary and secondary school students in the community. This project will provide age appropriate reading materials for children ages 5 to 8 as well as three computers, one to be used as a database for the library, the other two for younger students to use for assignments. These resources will support students' learning and access to information, building foundational skills to support them in secondary school.
